Iceberg known as India’s first organic ice cream brand, is making waves in the industry with its ambitious expansion plans. The brand recently unveiled its premium line, ‘Organic Creamery,’ during a press conference. This launch coincides with the opening of its 73rd company-owned outlet in Kavuri Hills on Road No 36, scheduled for this Dasara.

Founded in 2013 in Nellore, Iceberg has transformed from a modest 200 sq. ft. outlet into a major player in the Rs 20,000 crore Telugu states ice cream market. With 64 out of 72 outlets being franchised, the upcoming location marks Iceberg’s ninth company-owned store. The investment for this new outlet is approximately INR 70 lakh.

The company’s current turnover stands at INR 14 crores, and it aims to reach an impressive INR 100 crores by the end of FY 2026. Dr. Suhas B. Shetty, Founder & CEO of RS Business Ventures LLP, shared insights into the brand’s future, stating plans to open 25 additional outlets in the next two years—15 in Hyderabad in 2025 and 10 in other regions in 2026. This expansion will require an investment of about INR 11 crores.

Innovation at Its Core

What sets Iceberg apart is its commitment to innovation and sustainability. The brand offers over 36 unique flavors, including keto options and intriguing varieties like charcoal and gulab jamun. Iceberg has gained recognition for its pioneering approach, being the first company from Andhra Pradesh to participate in “Shark Tank India” Season 3.

Their manufacturing facility in Nellore is not just ordinary; it is solar-powered and boasts a capacity of 12,500 liters, expandable to 25,000 liters. This reflects Iceberg’s dedication to sustainable practices while meeting growing demand.

A Vision for the Future

Dr. Shetty emphasizes that Iceberg’s growth will rely on both company-owned and franchised models. “We have a steady demand for franchise opportunities and aim to include aspiring ‘IcePreneurs’ in our growth story,” he mentioned. This inclusive approach is poised to fuel Iceberg’s success as it navigates the competitive landscape of the ice cream industry.

With a robust R&D focus and a portfolio that continuously evolves, Iceberg is not just another ice cream brand; it’s a movement toward healthier, organic indulgence.

As Hyderabad welcomes ‘Organic Creamery,’ ice cream lovers can look forward to a delightful experience that combines quality, sustainability, and a commitment to health.
