Bougainvillea

Bougainvillea Hyderabad – the continental cafe introduces new winter menu – do not miss the Singaporean egg drop soup & crispy Avocado wedges says Rajeshwari Kalyanam

Bougainvillea Hyderabad – the continental cafe opened with a bang and the excitement continues with the team maintaining the freshness of the menu, consistently maintaining the tastes and flavours of the all-time favourites balancing the classics with fusion.

The new winter menu is an exciting addition to the comfort food and existing favourites like the Chowmein, Sour Dough and Focaccia sandwich.

The classic soups Carrot and ginger soup and Singaporean egg drop soup are treated well by the chefs – they are as wholesome and gusty as winter soups must be. The egg drop soup that isn’t so often found in Hyderabadi restaurants is hot, sour and comforting that unlike its frothy basic first look is amazing to taste.

The Green Goddess summer salad impresses with its freshness – the avacado, edemame, asparagus making a flavourful combo with the lettuce. Cantonese Lotus Stem on the other hand is crispy and tossed in honey – hence familiar and appealing.

Adding right amount of Indian touch – the chefs reimagined the popular starters and you have Malai dahi kebab pops, Kothmir chicken tikka and Butter chicken tortellini (this is especially a good option for those who prefer desiness in their food). Ravioli Liquid Parmesan on the other hand is yet another testimony to the chefs of Bougainvillea Cafe who are experts in creating the finest of the continental dishes.

Blue pea fried rice is another dish that is a must try. It gets its colour from the Blue Pea Flower – it is the hearty and garlicy fried rice that goes from best to brilliant when paired with the Hot basil Pattaya with tofu and Hot braised chicken.

Couple of other dishes that are set to find permanent place on the menu include Butter Garlic Prawns on Crackers and Crispy Avocado Wedges; not to mention the desserts that are never to be missed when dining at Bougainvillea. The seasonal Strawberries dipped in dark and white chocolate are back and check out the cakes as well. Soon plated desserts are going to be introduced to the menu – ideal for the festive season.
