Saraswati Nadi Pushkaralu 2025 from May 15

Kaleswaram Saraswati Pushkaralu will be held from May 15th for 12 days at
the Triveni Sangamam of Godavari, Pranahitha and Saraswati rivers
near Kaleswara Kshetram, Jayashankar Bhoopalapalli District

Telangana State Minister for Endowments Konda Surekha, IT and Industries Minister of Sridhar Babu inaugurated the web portal and mobile app for the Kaleswaram Saraswati Pushkaralu’ scheduled to be held in Bhupalapalli district of Telangana from May 15 to 26, 2025.

The app has been designed to help visiting pilgrims with all the necessary details said the IT Minister. Endowment Principal Secretary (Endowments) Sailaja Ramayar (IAS), Commissioner Sridhar (IAS), Dharmika Parishad Advisor Govinda Hari, Bhupalapalli district collector Rahul Sharma and temple Eo Mahesh were also present during the inauguration of the app.

Telangana State is home to various temple festivals, river festivities, some of them vibrant tribal festivals – each one of them with great spiritual significance. And that includes the Kaleswaram Saraswati Pushkaralu.

It is believed that the ancient river Saraswati flows below the surface of earth in Prayag, North of India and near Kaleswaram in the South of India.  

Devotees take a dip in the Triveni Sangamam – the confluence of the Godavari, Pranahita and Saraswati rivers at Sri Kaleshwara Mukteshwara Swamy Temple in Jayashanlar Bhupalapalli district. They believe it will wash them off their sins. 

The government is taking all measures to ensure the best of the facilities, wider ghats (the new ghat will be named Saraswati Ghat), and is spending .35 crore to ensure the comfort of the pilgrims.  

Seers from various Pithams will be coming to the 12-day Pushkaralu and each day one head of the pitham will be taking the holy bath beginning with Sri Sri Sri Madhavananda Saraswati Swamy of the Sri Gurumadanananda Saraswati Peetham. Rangampeta, Medak District on May 15th. Tuni Tapovanam Peethadhipathi Sri Sri Sri Sachidananda Saraswati Swamy will be there on May 17th; Pushpagiri Peethadhipathi Sri Sri Sri Abhinavoddanda Vidyasankara Bharathi Mahaswamy on May 18; Nasik Thrayambakeswar Sri Sri Sri Mahamandaleswar Acharya Samvidananda Saraswati Maharaj on May 19; and on May 23 Hampi Virupaksha Peethadhipathi Sri Sri Sri Vidyaranya Bharathi Swamy will be coming to the Saraswati Pushkaralu to take the holy dip. 

A 17-foot Saraswati idol sculpted from a single rock and decorative gateways (thoranam) at the two ghats are part of the plan. In addition, a 100-room accommodation and dormitory building will be provided. A 100-room tent city is also being planned for the Saraswati Pushkaralu. Other facilities will include showers, change rooms, water canopies, OHSR water tanks. CC Roads around the temple. 

Pilgrims can access the app for all the other details of Saraswathi Pushkaralu to be held at Kaleshwara Mukteshwara Swamy Devasthanam along the banks of the Triveni Sangamam from May 15th to May 26.
