Amidst pandemic comes the ‘welcom’ news of a new launch. The hospitality brand ITC Hotels group has launched its second property in the picturesque Himachal Pradesh – Welcomhotel Tavleen Chail.
The former summer capital of the princely state of Patiala, Chail is a quaint hill station cocooned in a beautiful nook, 37 kilometers from Shimla in the snow-capped Shivalik region of Himachal Pradesh.
Spread across three hills – Rajgarh, Sadh Tiba and Pandewa – the Chail region overlooks the stunning valley of Sutlej, offering panoramic views of the countryside
The ITC’s Chail resort property has 65 guest rooms, including 18 fairytale cottages and a luxury suite. Nestled amidst lush green forests, each of the property’s lodgings come with a private sit-out with breathtaking, panoramic views of the pristine mountains.
Just six months ago, the brand launched a similar resort property at Shimla. The press release announcing t he launch describes the new Himachal Pradesh’s Tavleem Chail as a property designed to be an ideal getaway where travelers will enjoy fresh mountain air and nature in its best form. It is set amidst an oak forest, and each cottage is like an exclusive cabin in the woods, with a private balcony, to offer enchanting views. Local Himachali cuisine served at the restaurant completes the experience of living amidst mountains.
With all its amenities, and fun activities planned it does offers a luxurious retreat at the tourist destination. For rejuvenation the resort property also has the signature ayurvedic spa Kaya Kalp.
The other attractions in the one of Himachal Pradesh’s scenic regions include Chail Cricket Ground which is the highest cricket ground in the world located close to the property; the Chail Wildlife Sanctuary, Chail Bazaar, Sadhupul Lake, Kali KaTibba and Himalayan Nature Park.
