Grand Launch of Megastar Chiranjeevi’s Fantasy Epic, #Mega156, and Commencement of Music Recording
Megastar Chiranjeevi’s much-anticipated fantasy adventure, #Mega156, embarked on its cinematic journey with a grand and majestic launch event in the past. The magnum opus, helmed by director Vassishta, known for his work on Bimbisara, received extensive backing from the successful production house, UV Creations.
The launch was a momentous occasion, attended by the entire team and esteemed guests from the Telugu film industry. The legendary Chiranjeevi, along with his wife, Smt. Surekha, presented the script to initiate proceedings. Allu Aravind marked the commencement of filming by switching on the camera, and Raghavendra Rao sounded the clapboard. Notable figures such as VV Vinayak, Maruthi, and others graced the event with their presence.
An intriguing tradition was revived during the launch as the film’s music recording began even before the official proceedings. Maestro MM Keeravani, the music director for #Mega156, shared some exciting details with the audience. He expressed, “Good news for fans of Megastar Chiranjeevi. The 14th production venture of UV Creations marks Chiranjeevi’s 156th film. The movie will feature six songs, and we wanted to uphold the tradition of commencing with music recording during the pooja formalities. We began by recording a celebratory song. Best wishes to Vassishta, who shoulders this remarkable project.”
Renowned lyricist Chandrabose expressed his happiness and gratitude, saying, “Dussehra wishes to everyone. I’m delighted to be part of such a unique and extraordinary film. I wholeheartedly thank Keeravani garu, director Vassishta, and the producers. We assure you that we will deliver some wonderful songs.”
The production of #Mega156 is nothing short of grandeur. Producers Vikram, Vamsi, and Pramod have allocated a substantial budget, making it one of the most expensive films in Chiranjeevi’s illustrious career. The film boasts the cinematography skills of Chota K Naidu, while AS Prakash is responsible for production design, and Sushmita Konidela takes charge of the costumes.
The scriptwriting team includes Sai Madhav Burra, Kotagiri Venkateswara Rao, and Santhosh Kamireddy as the editors. Sri Siva Shakthi Datta and Chandrabose are credited as lyric writers, with Srinivas Gavireddy, Ganta Sridhar, Nimmagadda Srikanth, and Mayukh Adithya serving as script associates.
