Shivakumar Ramachandravarapu, the popular character actor who’s played key roles in films like Bheeshma, Tholi Prema, Majili, and Ninnu Kori to name a few, is joining hands with Malayalam actor Nithin Prasanna for a film titled Narudi Brathuku Natana. The film marks the directorial debut of Rishikeshwar Yogi (also the writer) and is produced by TG Vishwa Prasad’s People Media Factory.
Shot amidst exotic locales in Kerala, the film also features Sruthy Jayan, Aishwarya Anil Kumar, Viva Raghav and Dayanand Reddy in key roles. Having made a splash at various international film fests, winning over 60 awards before its release, the film is all set for a theatrical release this summer on April 26. ‘Makkal Selvan’ Vijay Sethupathi unveiled the film’s first glimpse this week.
The title throws a hint of the film’s premise – revolving around the highs and lows in the life of an acting aspirant – Sathya, who becomes the butt of all ridicule for his lofty ambitions. When he’s advised to lead a life away from the arc lights, he forges a bond with the residents of a village in Kerala and falls for a Malayali girl. He’s conversing with Nithin about conveying ‘I Love You’ in Malayalam as well.
Narudi Brathuku Natana promises to be a sensory treat unfolding in an idyllic backdrop with its measured treatment, backed by many budding actors. NYX Lopez scores the music for the film while Fahad Abdul Majeed cranks the camera. Sukumar Boreddy and Dr Sindhu Reddy are the other producers. Chithran M and Adarsh Kumar Aniyal are the lyricists.
