Ms. Michaela Küchler is a career diplomat. She joined the Federal Foreign Office in 1988. She held various positions such as protocole officer in the Federal Foreign Office, Cultural Attachée in Czechoslavakia, Press attachée in Santiago de Chile, desk officer for IMF and G7 again at the Federal Foreign Office and negotiator for European Union enlargement. She worked as European Policy adviser for two Federal Chancellors and three Federal Presidents. Her latest posting before coming to India was Ambassador for Holocaust Remembrance and the fight against antisemitism. Ms. Küchler speaks English, French, Spanish, Portuguese and some Czech. She has three children and likes walking, cycling and skiing.

Prof (Dr.) Sudhir Krishnaswamy is the Vice-Chancellor of NLSIU, Bengaluru. He is also the Co-founder and Managing Trustee of the Centre for Law and Policy Research that engages in law and policy research, social and governance interventions and strategic impact litigation. He graduated with a Bachelor of Arts and Law degree from the National Law School of India, Bangalore and completed a postgraduate and doctoral degree at Oxford University as a Rhodes Scholar. He is the recipient of the Infosys Prize 2022 in the Humanities category. His current research focuses on constitutional law, the empirical analysis of the legal, political and governance systems and the regulation of new and emerging technologies including artificial intelligence and automated decision systems.

Kalpana Sharma is an independent journalist, columnist, and author specializing in developmental, environmental, and gender issues. She has worked with Himmat Weekly, Indian Express, Times of India, and The Hindu. Currently, she writes a media column for Newslaundry.com. Her books include The Silence and the Storm: Narratives of Violence Against Women in India” (2019), Rediscovering Dharavi: Stories from Asia’s Largest Slum (2000). She has edited Single by Choice, Happily Unmarried Women (2019), Missing: Half the Story, Journalism as if Gender Matters (2010), and co-edited Whose News? The Media and Women’s Issues (1994/2006), and Terror Counter-Terror: Women Speak Out (2003).
