The 36th match of IPL 2023 of RCB vs KKR was a revenge battle between the teams in Bengaluru. The last time RCB won a game against KKR was when Virender Sehwag was an active IPL player. RCBians were unhappy with the team’s performance last night. Poor bowling action from the bowlers of RCB continues. Unnecessary misfields were frustrating to the fans, which gave the edge to KKR. A good 2-wicket haul from the youngster Vyshak Vijay Kumar impressed the fans. RCB batters also failed to perform well. The KGF trio failed miserably. Apart from Kohli’s half-century, there’s nothing much to talk about the batting. It’s high time for RCB to fix their middle-order batting lineup.
KKR’s performance was contrary to RCB’s performance. The bowlers did a great job in restricting RCB batters. Impact player Suyash Sharma and Varun Chakravarthy dismissed 2 and 3 wickets each, which was awesome. Andre Russel failed with the bat but proved himself with a magnificent 2-wicket haul. The batters, Jason Roy and Nitish Rana(C), showered the stadium with maximums. The captain, however, missed a well-deserved half-century. David Weise owned the last over with an exceptional 400 Strike Rate.
It was RRR(Rana, Russel, Rinku) supremacy over the KGF(Kohli, Glenn, Faf) in the game. Virat Kohli himself admitted that the team deserved to lose last night. The RCBians expect a better comeback from their team.
