The much-anticipated Uttar Dakshin Concert is set to take place in Hyderabad on March 1, 2025 at the JNAFAU Auditorium, Masab Tank, at 6 PM. This grand musical event will feature an extraordinary Jugalbandi. Bringing together two legendary maestros: Padma Shri Pandit Ronu Majumdar on the flute and Vidwan R. Kumaresh, a celebrated violinist from the Carnatic music tradition.

Jointly organized by Vivid Arts and Surmandal Hyderabad, the concert aims to showcase the confluence of Hindustani and Carnatic classical traditions, creating an immersive and holistic musical experience.

Pandit Ronu Majumdar, one of India’s most revered flautists, has been honored with the prestigious Padma Shri for his immense contributions to Indian classical music. His soulful renditions and exceptional mastery over the bansuri have mesmerized audiences across the globe. Accompanying him will be Vidwan R. Kumaresh, a highly acclaimed violin maestro from the Carnatic music fraternity, renowned for his dynamic and deeply expressive performances that seamlessly blend tradition with innovation.
